Custom Jewelry for over 22 years

Custom Creations is a “brick and mortar”, full service jewelry store nestled in the Enchanted Mountains of Western New York. The store’s owners, Terry and Marianne Klein, reside in this quiet area of the southern tier.

Terry has been a bench jeweler since 1972. He started as an apprentice in Williamsport, Pa, later working for a local 2 store chain ( Reed’s Jewelers) as the only bench jeweler. After 13 years at Reed’s, he ventured out on his own to start Custom Creations Fine Jewelry. Terry has received a G.I.A certificate in diamonds (1995) and in diamond grading (1997). Custom Creations currently has three full time bench jewelers on staff (Terry and 2 others).

Kevin, having apprenticed under Terry while at Reed’s jewelers, has been at the bench since 1981.

Joshua, Terry’s son, has been creating custom made pieces of jewelry since he was about 7 years old. After high School, Joshua decided to work in the family business and has been a great creative addition to the store since 2001.

After 22 years of owning their own store, Terry and Marianne decided to take the plunge into the technological world of jewelry manufacturing. They have purchased the cutting edge of CAD/CAM design software and milling. With Gemvision’s Matrix design software, the store is now capable of creating jewelry with precision milling capabilities provided by the Revo mill. (Visit our custom jewelry page.)

Custom Creations has always been known for our quality of craftsmanship, along with our “down to earth” friendly attitude. Terry is an avid sportsman and also loves to farm. He and his wife also own an alpaca farm. Needless to say, whether it’s jewelry, fishing, alpacas or anything else, you could stop in or call to talk with Terry about pretty much anything.
